What does the verifier check?
It checks that the domain accepts mail and that the specific mailbox exists, then returns safe, riskier or invalid. Catch-all domains are probed rather than skipped, which is where most verification tools give up and return an unhelpful unknown.
Can I verify a list that did not come from Evaboot?
Yes, and that is what the verifier is for. Pass any addresses you have, from a CRM export, a webinar signup list, a purchased list or a file a colleague sent you. The verifier does not care where they came from, and the same checks run on every one.
What does riskier mean?
The address is plausible but could not be confirmed, usually because the domain accepts all mail or the server refused to answer. Send to these separately from your safe list, or leave them out of a cold sequence entirely.
How many emails can I verify at once?
A bulk job accepts a list of addresses and runs asynchronously, so your assistant submits the list and polls for the result. A list of under a hundred addresses typically finishes in one to two minutes.
Do I need to verify emails the finder already found?
Not straight away. The finder verifies every address as it finds it, so a fresh list from the finder is already sorted into safe, riskier and invalid. The verifier earns its place on lists that came from somewhere else, and on a found list that has sat for a quarter, because addresses go stale and a bounce costs sender reputation across every campaign from that domain.
Do I need a Sales Navigator seat?
No. The verifier works on any list of addresses, wherever they came from. A Sales Navigator seat is only needed if you want your assistant to build the list as well, which the Sales Navigator MCP covers.
